Since it's beginnings, the Navajo Sheep Project has been assisting the Navajo with their animal husbandry.  Dr. McNeal is an internationally renowned sheep expert and emeritus professor at Utah State University in the Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Science department. Over the years, along with deploying thousands of Navajo-Churro to Dine' families throughout the reservation, he has assisted with teaching flock management and veterinary skills. Below you will find much needed information regarding the care and management of your Navajo-Churro flock. Check back often because we will add to the information.
